If you are interested in being a part time volunteer please read the volunteer tab on this website for more info. For 2020 we currently only want part time volunteers that can work the whole festival from Feb 14-23

8. I am a dancer/fire performer/etc and I want to perform at this festival and get free entrance.
ファイヤーダンスをしたい人は、入場料がかかりますか？
We do not offer free entrance for dancers/fire performers/etc. but you are welcome to ask for donations. If you would like to perform at the festival please contact us through our email: shambhala.firecircus@gmail.com with the subject: FIRE/VISUAL PERFORMANCE.
Please include the dates you will be attending the festival and what kind of performance you do.
入場は、必要です。ファイヤーダンスショーがありますので、会場内のファイヤーダンスリーダーがいますので、受付で問い合わせてください。

9. Do you rent/sell Tents/Sleeping bags/blankets/straw mats..?
会場でテントや寝袋、マットなどのレンタルや、売ってるものはありますか？
We WILL RENT: Blankets and Straw Mats. Some tents will be rented or sold, but they sell out fast. *There are also tents and sleeping mats sold in the town. (About 3-4km) はい。あります。

10. What time/day can I arrive?
いつ到着するのがよいですか？
You can arrive anytime on the 14th. (Please do not arrive on the 13th) We will kick everyone out before Noon and you will buy your tickets then. (We will be checking tickets every day so please respect the festival and do not sneak in without purchasing a ticket.) 14日の午前中より、入場できます。 คุณสามารถมาถึงงานได้ทุกเวลา ในวันที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ (กรุณาอย่ามางานในวันที่ 13 กุมภาพันธ์)

11. When is the festival over? いつまでキャンプできますか？
The last night of music is on the 18rd
Please prepare to leave and go home on morning of the 24th. Please DO NOT plan to stay overnight on the 24th (This caused a lot of trouble last year).
We will be calling TukTuks that you can share the fee to go to Chiangmai and possibly Pai.

คืนสุดท้ายของงานดนตรีคือวันที่ 23 กุมภาพันธ์ กรุณาเตรียมตัวและออกจากพื้นที่ภายในเช้าวันที่ 24 กุมภาพันธ์ กรุณาอย่าอยู่ต่อในคืนวันที่ 17 กุมภาพันธ์ (เพราะเราเจอกับปัญหานี้เมื่อปีที่แล้ว) เราจะเรียกรถสองแถว และคุณสามารถแชร์ค่ารถกับผู้คนอื่นๆ เพื่อเข้าเชียงใหม่ หรือไปปาย
12. What should I bring? 何をもっていったらよいですか？
Please bring your own Tents and sleeping bags. This is a camping festival so bring whatever else you usually bring camping. Lights (torches), warm clothes (it gets cold at night), bathing suit, towel, shampoo/tooth brush/soap/ etc (preferably organic so as not to pollute the water supply or river), your own cup, plate, utensils (some shops will let you borrow theirs but it is preferable if you bring your own), pocket knife, string for laundry, etc.... If you are sensitive to noise you might also want to bring ear plugs for sleeping at night. dogs (socialized) are welcome as long as they are trained to behave. Children are also welcome. (Children get free entrance) If you are a musician please also bring your instruments, if you are an artist feel free to bring your art supplies or things to make/sell. VERY IMPORTANT! We lost the last location and had to move because some customers were caught with illegal hard drugs. Also because of this, this year every day police will come to the festival to check for drugs. Please respect our festival and do NOT plan to come and sell drugs at our festival. You may become responsible for ending shambhala! If our staff catch you doing or selling drugs you will be escorted to your campsite and told to immediately pack up and leave the festival.
キャンプできる準備をしてきてください。今年は、ドミトリールームがありません。懐中電灯、防寒具、温泉用水着、石鹸など（天然のものにしてください ）重要事項！！ 去年、お客様の中で違法な薬物を所持し使用した方がいました。 そのこともあり私たちは場所を変えることになりました。 今年は毎日タイ警察が会場に来て、違法な薬物の所持や使用をしていないか調べに来ることになっています。 わたしたちのシャンバラ祭りの考えを尊重してくれることを願います。いかなる薬物も持ち込みや、売買、使用を絶対にしないでください。 もし、私たちスタッフが薬物の持ち込みや使用、売買を確認した場合、ただちに会場から退避していただきますのでご了承ください。
ที่นี่เป็นงานดนตรีที่มีการแคมป์ปิ้ง กรุณานำอุปกรณ์ต่างๆ ที่คุณใช้ในการแคมป์ปิ้ง อุปกรณ์ให้แสงไฟ เสื้อผ้าอุ่นๆ ชุดอาบน้ำ ผ้าขนหนู ยาสระผม แปรงสีฟัน สบู่ เป็นต้น หากเป็นไปได้ที่จะเป็นแบบไร้สารเคมีจะเป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างมาก แก้ว ช้อน จาน บางร้านค้าจะมีให้ แต่ถ้าคุณนำมาเองจะดีมาก 🙂 มีด อุปกรณ์ตากผ้า เป็นต้น หากคุณไม่สามารถหลับได้ในกลางคืนเวลาเสียงดัง กรุณานำที่อุดหูมาด้วยเพื่อตอนนอน สุนัข เรายินดีหากท่านจะนำสัตว์เลี้ยงมาด้วย ตราบเมื่ออยู่ในการดูและ และควบคุม หรือถูกฝึกมาแล้ว เรายินดีและต้อนรับเด็กๆ และหากคุณเป็นนักดนตรี กรุณานำเครื่องดนตรีของคุณมาด้วย และหากคุณเป็นศิลปินขายงานศิลปะของคุณ สามารถนำอุปกรณ์มาทำหรือขายได้ภายในงานเช่นกัน สำคัญมาก! เราเสียพื้นที่ในการจัดงานที่เดิมในปีก่อนและต้องย้ายพื้นที่จัดงานเพราะ เมื่อปีที่แล้วผู้เข้าร่วมงานของเราถูกจับในข้อหานำสิ่งของผิดกฎหมายเข้ามาภายในงาน กรุณาให้ความเคารพพื้นที่และอย่าวางแผนเพื่อที่จะเข้ามาขายยาเสพติดในงานของเรา คุณจะถูกเชิญให้ออกจากงานโดยทันที หากพนักงานของเราจับได้ว่าคุณนำยาเสพติดมาขายในงาน คุณจะถูกคุมตัวไปที่เต้นท์ของคุณในทีนที่เพื่อเก็บของทุ้งหมดและเชิญคุณออกจากพื้นที่

14. Is there a safe place to store valuables?

Q：現地の気候はどんな感じでしょうか？
A：シャンバラまつりが開催される２月のタイ北部は乾期にあたり、雨はほとんど降りません。 暑期が近いので昼間はかなり暑いです。 この時期は昼夜の温度差が激しく日が沈むと急に肌寒くなります。 防寒着やマット、毛布など寒さ対策もしっかりと用意してください。 １月か２月に日本を出発するのなら、その時の服で大丈夫です。
Q：チェンマイからチェンダーオへのバスの時刻表が知りたい。
A：時刻表は入手できないのですが、基本的に30分に1本ほどの間隔であります。 チェンマイのチャーンプアック・バスステーションに行って「チェン・ダーオ」と係員に訪ねて下さい。
所要時間：約1時間15分
距離：７０Km
時間帯：始発am5:30／終発pm7:30
値段：40バーツ
Q：チェンダーオのバス停についたらどうやって会場まで行けますか？
A：バス停から会場までは６Kmほどあります。 ソンテウ・ドライバーを見つけて交渉してください。 バス停付近にたくさんいるはずです。 行き先は「Chiang Dao Firm Stay(チェンダオ ファームステイ）」です。 ドライバーによっては日本人の発音が伝わらない事もありますが、あきらめずにトライしてください。 料金はバス停から会場まで１台１５０バーツ程です。 人数が集まればワリカンで行けます。 およそ１０分ほどで到着します。

Q：会場周辺のコテージに泊る場合、会場までの移動手段はありますか？
A：地元のソンテウを手配できると思います。 各コテージのスタッフにお尋ねください。
